You'd think for how ginormous my family is getting it would be impossible to get all of us together for an entire weekend, but somehow we manage to pull it off every year. Honestly, as I'm sure most of you know, I'm not really much of a camper but going with my family is always so much fun and I wouldn't miss it for anything. This year we camped at Vernon Reservoir which is basically out in the middle of nowhere. But luckily there were a few trees right around our campground to give us just enough shade to stay cool. We all brought our 4-wheelers and motorcycles for entertainment. The kids just couldn't get enough of Kim's big red 4-wheeler. They loved it! And I actually got up the guts to drive Jared's motorcycle for the first time. So fun!!!! Normally we all rough it with tents, but this year Scott and Jen decided to camp in luxury with a trailer. It actually came in very handy for all of us since there was no running water and the super gross bathrooms were like a mile away. We had a little party for all the August and September birthdays too. Kaitlee got a bunch of really fun stuff. I don't think I've ever seen my girls so incredibly dirty. Ivy and Macy took turns giving makeovers by smearing dirt all over each others faces. Little Jessica and Sonrisa just followed each other around picking up rocks and sharing other treasures they found lying around. Zeke was the first one to fall into the little river just below our camp site. The rest of the kids had their fair share of getting all wet and muddy after that too. Britton and Kyle definitely won the award for staying the cleanest. They seemed to sparkle next to the rest of us. This was the first year all of us had a baby of our own. It was so fun to see Scott and Timmy with their cute little boys. I love my all my brothers and sisters and my mom and dad and I am so grateful we all get along so well. It's always fun getting together with them.
